Yoga has been a part of Amanda's life since 1999 when she first got on her mat. In 2006 she took her teacher training in Rishikish, India where she studied with Yogi Vishvketu in the Akhanda yoga tradition. Since then she has studied and practiced many different styles of yoga which reflects in her teaching style. She believes in a balanced practice that not only touches on all the areas of the body but also has just the right blend of softness and strength. In 2011 she achieved her certification in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy after a year long intensive and continues to offer this in private sessions. Aside from her practice, Amanda is a mother to three beautiful children and enjoys being outside and being embodied.
